Pinotage was developed in the 20's as a variety. Dark hues tending to crimson and violet on the edges with berry fruits and earthy tones of dusty forest floor and dried herbs on the nose.

Bold fruit flavours are underpinned with a gamey savouriness. Elegant stem characters influence the tannin structure supporting the fruity bouquet.
