VINEYARD AND WINEMAKING NOTES
Low cropping and early fruit thinning ensured optimum potential. The Dam Block is named after the Dam at the base of our north face sloping vineyards. Wild fermentation coupled with extended maceration time and barrel aged in French Oak for 15 months provided the platform for this Linden Estate flagship Bordeaux blend.
Eye: Dark red with violet hues
Nose: Black Doris plum, blueberry and light spice with hints of mocha and black forest.
Taste: An incredibly balanced palate displaying black forest, dark chocolate, mocha, spice, liquorice and olives notes. As this wine opens up, it just keeps on giving. A wine lovers treat. Enjoy.
